Our On-campus Dining Plans are designed to be flexible and convenient. They can be used at any of our 12 residential dining halls, and offer a Combo-X-Change once per day, Monday - Friday. The Combo-X-Change is available at Sparty's, Union Pizzeria, Union Deli and Serrano's at the MSU Union and Riverwalk Market at Owen Hall.

Combo-X-Change allows dining plan holders to use a meal access for a combo at Sparty's, Union Pizzeria, Union Deli, Serrano's and Riverwalk Market at Owen Hall, once per day Monday - Friday for resident students and multiple times for off-campus students, faculty and staff.
Flex Option offers a $7.50 cash equivalency for off-campus dining plan users and a $5.75 cash equivalency for faculty and staff dining plan users at Sparty's, Union Pizzeria, Union Deli and Serrano's at One Union Square Food Court and the Riverwalk Market at Owen Hall.
Yes, of course! Students living off-campus or commuting to MSU can purchase a dining plan. Off-campus Dining Plans can be used in any of our 12 Residential Dining Halls, offer Combo-x-Change and a Flex Option, allowing a $7.50 cash equivalency to use at Sparty's, Union Pizzeria, Union Deli and Serrano's at One Union Square Food Court and the Riverwalk Market at Owen Hall.
Beginning Fall 2011, unused meals roll over to the next semester and no longer expire as long as your MSU ID is active.
Off-campus students have a choice of four dining plans:
Faculty and staff can purchase the DineOn 10+ at a rate of $5.75 per meal plus tax, with a minimum purchase of 10 meals. The meals can be used in any of our 12 Residential Dining Halls or as a Combo-x-Change or Flex Option of $5.75 at Sparty's, Union Pizzeria, Union Deli, Serrano's and Riverwalk Market at Owen Hall. Unused meals roll over to the next semester never expire.
Of course! Single meals may be purchased at the entrance of each Residential Dining Hall. The daily rates are $5.75 for breakfast and $8.99 for lunch and dinner. All locations accept cash, Spartan Cash and credit cards.
Each dining hall on campus offers a variety of meal options, including vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Dining Service Managers and Chefs are always available in each dining hall to assist you if you have questions about your particular needs.
Spartan Cash can be used in all on-campus laundry facilities, at Crossroad Food Court and One Union Square Food Court, Olin Health Center, Wharton Center, Eat at State locations and more, as well as a variety of off-campus retailers. For a complete list, view the Spartan Cash Locations.

Dining plans are automatically added to room and board for students living on campus except students living in University Village, Van Hoosen and Williams Halls. Other students including off-campus students are encouraged to purchase a dining plan for convenience and value.
